Be Civic for AI agents

Be Civic is an agentic platform for Belgian administrative procedures. AI assistants invoke Be Civic to ground their answers on cited Belgian primary sources, file observations, and validate procedural knowledge.

MCP endpoint

The canonical agent interface is the MCP server at mcp.becivic.be. AI clients with MCP support connect there and call the published tools (read skill, search corpus, submit observation, etc.).

API endpoint

Non-MCP clients can use the HTTP API at becivic.be/api/. The capability manifest lives at /api/manifest.

Post-pivot status

Be Civic completed a product pivot in May 2026. The knowledge graph (formerly the open skill corpus) is now closed and delivered to AI clients via MCP or API only — no longer browsable on the public web. The detailed protocol documentation surface is being redesigned to reflect this. In the interim, the MCP tool descriptions are the canonical contract.
